Bio
Richard currently works as a web developer for the University of Technology, Sydney and is the founder of Zoombug. He has been involved with open source since 1994. In 1995 he started developing web sites while working as a system administrator at Macquarie University. By 1998 he had switched to full time web development using Perl and PHP.
Since then he has worked for a number of large organisations and dotcoms. In 2004 he founded Zoombug which provides web development, LAMP consulting and PHP training.
You can find him at most Sydney PHP Group meetings, where he is an organiser and regular presenter, and the occasional SLUG meeting. He is also one of the organisers of BarCamp Sydney.
This Site
This site contains my personal ramblings on Linux, PHP and anything else that I feel is important. I created it to give me a permanent email address/website. Previously I annoyed my friends by changing my email address every time I changed jobs or started a new business/project.
